From the team at SunnyKids :
Our Short to Medium term Housing Program supports women and children who have experienced domestic and family violence to transition from crisis or temporary accommodation into longer-term independent living. The program gives participants an opportunity to establish a positive rental history with a reputable real estate agency while continuing to receive case management support and work towards sustainable, long-term housing outcomes.
To be eligible, applicants must:

• Have resided in a DFV refuge or other supported temporary accommodation, or have been actively engaged with a DFV service, for a minimum of six weeks.
• Be assessed as being beyond the immediate crisis phase and at low risk.
• Be unable to safely return to their previous accommodation.
• Not be listed on the TICA tenancy database.
• Be willing to actively engage in ongoing case management and work towards an agreed tenancy exit plan.
• Be willing to consider all suitable long-term housing options.
• Have the financial capacity to pay a minimum weekly rent of $550, with the rent not exceeding 30% of the household's total income.
