Seamless sale

Confident and reassuring

We engaged Dean and Simon to sell our home after eight weeks on the market with another real estate agency. We initially chose the other agents for a number of reasons, but nothing that was reflective of Dean and Simon. It became clear during our first weeks on the market that the agents we had chosen did not have the local knowledge or confidence that we needed to successfully sell our property. We contacted Dean again and after some discussions, made the decision to switch real estate agents. A decision which we did not regret. We were back on the market for ten days and had two Saturday open homes. During a period when Dean was on leave, Simon worked tirelessly and on the second Sunday, presented us with four offers. The weakest offer presented by Simon surpassed the best offer verbally indicated by the previous agents! By 6pm on the Sunday, we had a signed contract. Whilst we did not sell our home for our dream price, our break-even price, or even the bank valuation price, we sold the home for an amount that was appropriate and realistic in the market in which we were faced. It was also a price far more than the previous agents had advised we could expect. This was due to the dedication of Dean and Simon and their local knowledge of the area which cannot be disputed. Dean presents in a confident and reassuring manner, which is something that we really needed during this stressful time. Despite being a newcomer to the game, Simon was keen, confident and communicated with us clearly. Simon is quickly picking up the skills from one of the best sales persons around. I would not hesitate to recommend Dean and Simon. Despite having a large portfolio, they are genuine hard workers and were always available to talk to. Nothing was too much trouble, they were accommodating and overall we are pleased with the outcome. We cannot thank you enough.
