Poor communication with safety assessment of property to unable to move into property suddenly

Communication great viewing the property and signing lease, lots of effort to accomodate me. Then 24 hours before the removalist is delivering my good to the rented adresse -I be told , the sealing is coming down in the property- I can't move in!! I was still interstate, drove under stress 350 km to view 2 other rental options the agent provided- under pressure decided on a rental- with less than 24 hours left, before the removals tuned up to deliver. Well, I think inspection by realestate agents of rental properties/landlord info of building soundness -need to be substantial and retailed regarding building basics, so this is done trustfully before a property goes on rental market- that older and newer properties get monitored for fulfilling the safety standard and no disappointment is put on a renter, being left nearly with nowhere to go in the process of moving. I would have chosen a different property as I ended up in now, if the property I wanted to move into , would have been taken off the market earlier. So it all had an impact where to live. All in the addition of a high priced rental market, and limited availability, the quality of properties need to be worse the money we have to pay as renters .
