"Thalbrook" is in the rural locality of Thalgarrah, and is situated approx. 25km north-east of the major regional centre of Armidale, mid-way between Sydney and Brisbane with direct flights to both. Armidale is a major educational centre with the New England University and three private boarding schools. Thalbrook is home to koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas and wedge-tailed eagles to name a few. Topography ranges from gently undulating through to steeper timbered hill country with approx. 15% cleared (50ha/123ac) and previously used for sheep farming. There are 5 paddocks in the cleared areas with the rest of the property unfenced internally.
