Disappointing Handover Experience for Our First Home with Poor Post-Settlement Support.

We purchased our first home through McGrath Estate Agents with Akash and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The property was not properly cleaned at handover, and we were not provided with all the keys. In addition, a proper check of the heating unit does not appear to have been completed. We are now having to call the contractors our self to get things fixed. The overall handover process needs significant improvement. It is surprising that an established agency like McGrath Estate Agents would overlook such basic aspects of the settlement process. The experience left us feeling that once settlement was completed, the level of care and support dropped significantly. Considering this was a brand new home, it was frustrating to encounter multiple issues from the start. Based on this experience, it has made us question whether we would feel confident purchasing another property through them in the future.
