With a grown up family my wife and I decided to downsize our family home. As we had lived in the home for close on 50 years it was a major decision that was accompanied by some uncertainty. She made an appointment so that both she and I could fully outline our ideas. When I attended the meeting I was somewhat sceptical of the process we were involving ourselves in. As is my nature I looked at the meeting area and took notice of notes on a whiteboard that were the remnants of a previous staff meeting that outlined discussion points that included staff professionalism, working as a team and the well being of the client. On meeting Paul, I was impressed with his professionalism, his personal presentation and his manner when interacting with both of us. He provided relevant information and outlined costs and a time line that we would need to follow. We felt completely at ease and over the next few weeks were provided with continual feedback by both Paul and Amanda by phone, email and personal visits. Paul turned the angst we were feeling about selling our family home to make it an adventure that we both found exciting. The result was that we we able sell our property which was sub-divided for an amount we were very happy with and will allow us to plan retirement within our budget.
