Brookwater Gem

Overall we are pleased with our purchase but not without a few glaring issues with the agent. The property was poorly presented by the owners but that didn't detract from the bones of the property or it's location. When asked specific questions about the property Tracey either skirted around the answer or outright lied. Specifically when asked about the dam at the back of the adjoining property flooding into the property she clearly stated "it has never flooded". When we asked the neighbours of the property their reply was "The dam floods during heavy rain regularly". On settlement day it is normal to have the keys to your new house presented to you with a "congratulations on your purchase" from your agent - not from Tracey. We waited in a bland agency for Tracey to come out with keys and a "well done", instead we had a phone call from her, at her office, saying the keys are in the power box at the property! Hardly a celebration for spending a bucket load of money at her agency. The office staff barely looked at us let alone smiled or struck up a conversion. No-one seemed interested in us at all. We love our new property and are enjoying living in Brookwater. Unfortunately as a buyer you cannot choose the agent who sells you a house...but as a seller you can, and the experience you have when buying makes a big difference as to who you will choose. No Ray White of Springfield for us !
