Felt Rushed and Unsupported During My First Property Purchase

This was my first experience buying a property, and unfortunately, it felt quite overwhelming due to the pressure I experienced throughout the process. I was encouraged to increase my offer even though there were no other competing offers, and I was pushed to move quickly on signing the contract. While I was being rushed, the other party didn’t appear to be under the same urgency. Even in the case of buying furniture from the previous owner, I was told to make a quick decision as the items were being removed imminently — only to find out they weren’t taken out until the day before settlement. Overall, I didn’t feel supported or properly guided during what should have been an exciting milestone.
