Did not disclose material fact about property

Gave Nicola the opportunity to rectify this issue but seems like she just wants to wash her hands off it and says there is nothing she can do. Previous owner deceptively hid a big hole in the kitchen bench top from renovations they carried out by placing a chopping board over it to hide it. Nicola suggested this is not something that is usually disclosed even if she knew - as a buyer this stuns me! I would want to know if there is a big gaping hole in my kitchen counter which I now need to spend thousands to replace. Also suggested to glue the chopping board to the kitchen top ( which is the most ridiculous thing I have heard). This whole dealing has left us extremely disappointed with what should have been an exciting journey.
