Designed by Nino Sydney, chief architect of Lend Lease, the Beachcomber House at Faulconbridge is the most intact example of this much loved (and copied) design. Faithfully restored by its current owners, who were awarded a National Trust Heritage Award in 2015. The care is evident throughout, right down to the smallest details, many of which have been sourced from Beachcombers that were being demolished.
