I've stood here since 2004, high on my 1,815sqm corner block above Beaudesert, watching the town lights flicker on each evening beyond my verandah.
I've been home to a family who filled my rooms with life. I've watched birthdays become Christmases, first days of school become moving-out days, and quiet Sunday mornings turn into backyard gatherings that carried well into the evening around my pool.
I've been loved, lived in and, most importantly, enjoyed.
With approximately 450sqm under roof, I was built for a family who wanted space - and plenty of it.
Upstairs, my expansive open-plan living area has been the heart of the home. Timber floors, beautiful natural light and plenty of room to gather have made this a space where family and friends could come together with ease.
My large, practical kitchen was designed for real family living, with plenty of bench and storage space to handle everything from quiet family dinners to a house full of guests.
Four bedrooms + study upstairs (5th Bedroom) provide plenty of room for everyone, while the two bathrooms have been beautifully renovated during the current family's time here, adding a fresh and modern touch.
Downstairs features two additional bedrooms, a bathroom, a second living area which could be converted into more rooms, a separate lounge, and a kitchenette. Teenager's retreat? Rental accommodation? Extended family? I've got space for all.
Then there's the outdoors...
This is where I've created some of my favourite memories.
My wraparound verandah stretches across the front of the home - the perfect place for morning coffee while taking in the elevated outlook.
At the rear, I have another shady entertainment area, or take a seat on the lounge near the pool and enjoy a cold one overlooking the 11m in-ground saltwater pool. Imagine summer afternoons with the kids in the pool, friends gathered around, something cold in your hand and nowhere else you need to be.
I've also worked hard behind the scenes to keep everyone comfortable.
With ducted air conditioning throughout, ceiling fans, a 12kW solar system and two 18,000L water tanks tucked beneath my garage, ready to switch over from mains whenever needed, I've been designed to make family life a little easier and more efficient.
And there's room for the extras too - an oversized double remote garage, caravan carport with 15-amp power, loads of storage, garden shed, established fruit trees and a veggie patch.
After thirteen years with this family, I've collected a lot of memories.
But I'm certainly not finished yet.
I'm ready for another family to walk through my doors, make their own memories and discover just how much I have to offer.
And it's not only what's inside my walls that makes me special.
I'm conveniently positioned just a short drive from Beaudesert town centre, with local schools, Jubilee Park, shops, cafés and everyday amenities all within easy reach. The Mount Lindesay Highway provides convenient access towards Brisbane and the Gold Coast, while the Scenic Rim's rolling hills, wineries and country lifestyle are all waiting just beyond town.
