•I usually lease my property as a private landlord, but since I was planning on going oversees for a long period of time, I needed to find a real estate agent who I could trust to manage my property whilst I was away. I picked 3 local agents to assess and I felt like the other two agents treated me as a transaction, the “next sale”. They tried to influence and push their agenda onto me. It was different with Emma & John at MyPlace Zetland. Firstly, they were recommended to me by a tenant of a property they manage. When I met Emma and John, they explained that it was a well established family business and I left that meeting feeling that they cared more about doing a good job than just focusing on the commission / profit margin. They listened to me, adapted to my needs whilst offering advice about the market and recommending strategies to ensure better outcomes for me & the prospective tenant. Advertising, my apartment and organising the open homes was effortless and a breeze. After each open home, I’d receive a summary of attendees and an initial assessment of their suitability. Emma assessed several applicants quite throroughtly and asked if I was comfortable with her recommendation. We are at the point where I have handed over the property for the new tenant to move in. Overall, every interaction with Emma has been seamless. Communication has been prompt, accurate and timely. I feel like I’m being treated like a person rather than a number. My prospective tenant also feels like he’s had a good experience with this agency. I’m only at the beginning of my relationship with MpPlace Zetland. But from my initial experience, I would highly recommend this agency for both landlords and tenants.
