On a lovely Fitzroy North street lined with period homes, this light-filled brick terrace combines timeless charm with generous proportions and easy living.
Behind its classic facade a traditional side hallway leads to two spacious bedrooms, one with an open fireplace. High ceilings and period details continue into the generous living room, where a second open fireplace with a decorative timber mantel creates a wonderfully inviting centerpiece. At the rear is a renovated kitchen and dining area designed by Rachel Nolan, early in her career. It includes a well-appointed kitchen providing plenty of bench and storage space that flows into the adjoining dining area where windows open the home to the deck and paved courtyard garden. The spotless bathroom includes a walk-in shower and laundry facilities, with a separate toilet adding everyday convenience.
Comfortable throughout the year, the home features a gas heater, split-system heating and cooling, and a ceiling fan in the kitchen. Outside, the leafy courtyard provides a peaceful place to enjoy a morning coffee, an afternoon in the garden or an evening drink with friends.
Then there's the location. Start the morning with coffee in North Fitzroy Village, wander through Edinburgh Gardens or take a stroll or cycle along Merri Creek. Queens Parade, Rushall Station, trams and buses are nearby, while local schools and the walking and cycling trails of Rushall Reserve are within easy reach.
A character-filled home in a much-loved Fitzroy North neighborhood, with everything you need at hand.
