A disappointing experience

I simply didn't trust them and rightly so as it turns out (I am talking about staff at Booval and Ripley as well). My initial settlement date had been scheduled. However, less than a week before this date, it was discovered that the tenants were still living in my property past their lease ending. Confused by this it was I who had to make the call and contact NGU to find out what was going on. They then informed me that the tenants were not given sufficient notice of the end of lease (although I had asked them to with sufficient time) and were now legally able to stay on for weeks longer. Unbelievably NGU had known this information for a month and had not chosen to inform me. What made this worse was that it put the whole sale of my property in jeopardy as the buyers also had not known and had made plans to move in the days following the initial settlement. Although this caused extra stress and action by myself, it also cost me in extra loan repayments and bills. After all of this, the only compensation that NGU offered was to pay the change of settlement fee. NGU - this lack of interest, action and financial compensation is enormously disappointing. It is clear that NGU were not interested in taking responsibility for their mistakes. I think the lake of care demonstrated in this unprofessional behaviour speaks for itself. If you had to choose between anyone else and NGU pick someone that is actually interested in working with their clients. NGU this was not a 'successful' sale as stated in your headlines. ANOTHER ONE SOLD BY (real estate agent) - RESULTS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS. I think what actually happened speaks louder than words and there just aren't any words to describe how embarrassing this transaction was.
