If you're selling in Blacktown, do not engage Umer.

Our experience with Umer was very disappointing. He came highly recommended by a trusted source. In Umer’s first meeting with us, and a few subsequent meetings, he had stated that we would be selling our townhouse above 550k and he would spare no effort in making sure our house was marketed using the most premium advertising. The marketing was far from premium, and his efforts to generate leads and attract potential buyers were well below average. Instead of having a conversation with us about how else we can boost the chances and the lowball offers he brought to us, he avoided our questions as to why he didn’t attract more buyers, and how the marketing had fizzled out almost immediately. Ultimately, we ended up selling our townhouse at the base price he recommended, and that too from a buyer within our network who had gone through Umer for the formality of engaging in this process. Umer lacks energy, proactivity, professionalism and knowledge of the local Blacktown market, as another townhouse in our complex which was in a worse condition for any potential owner or investor, ended up selling at a much higher price, and recently, a 2 bedroom villa within our complex, ended up selling just 10,000 less than what we sold our renovated kitchen and bathroom townhouse. Whilst the selling price is a driving factor of our grievances with Umer, what was more disappointing was a lack of drive and willingness to fetch the best results for us. Thank you for doing the barest of the bare minimum, Umer.
