A thorough and experienced agent made the sale of our property a bit easier

When we finally decided to sell Buckandor, we approached Jim Ritchie of Nutrien Harcourts in Glen Innes to take it to the market. We found him to be very knowledgeable about the value of grazing properties in general, although he freely admitted that it was very difficult to place an accurate price on Buckandor in the current bullish market. Jim was extremely thorough in his searches of our titles - no mean feat, as there are multiple Lot Numbers, all with more than one DP insitu. From first listing to settlement, Jim's communication was excellent. Early in the process, he always let us know when he was bringing lookers and who they were. Once offers were in for our consideration, he was in regular contact with us with regard to his progress with the potential purchasers, and we were impressed by how hard he worked to extract the best possible price from them. We accepted an offer for Buckandor, less than a month after listing. We still had regular phone calls from Jim and were welcome in his office any time we needed to see him, right up to the day of settlement. Jim is a seasoned professional at selling rural property, and he is well known for his knowledge of the New England region in particular, and further away, yet we found him to be friendly, easy to talk to and great for giving us his opinion when we asked for it. We will happily deal with Jim in the future, should the need arise, and have no hesitation in recommending him to others.
