This is not what was sold to us! Disgraceful!

We rented a "furnished" apartment for $1500.00 per week. We expected the apartment to be clean and in good condition. It is neither of those things. Furnished? 1 bedroom has furniture - the other 2 are empty. There is 1 pot, no drinking glasses, 2 tea mugs, 2 coffee mugs, a few chipped plates and bowls. A few knives and forks that are not clean. Very few cooking utensils. In fact - impossible to cook anything much with what was provided. Many maintenance problems. Many scratches and dents in almost everything. The so called "professional clean" could be done better by my 8 year old nephew. Sticky oily parts in the kitchen cupboards. Skid marks in the main toilet, an "oily film" on all surfaces. As if the same dirty rag was used to clean it all. The lounge suite has dog hair all over - and other dirty spots - including some suspect and undesirable (of origin) spots. The carpets don't look clean at all. We have contracted a professional carpet and upholstery cleaner to come in and clean up properly. The dining table has many scratches and some rickety chairs. Not nearly enough cleaning equipment in the apartment so we have had to bring in our own. No towel rails for hand towels in the master bathroom. No even a single soap dish in either shower. Nothing to put your personal cleaning items in the shower. The list goes on and on. I have many pictures and videos if anyone is interested. We have been cleaning for 2 days and have spent a lot of money getting the place to some type of livable standard. We are not there yet unfortunately. When we pointed out the dirty lounge suite - we were told that it had been cleaned and won't be cleaned again. WELL - the cleaning company should be fired and the agency should think about it's reputation. To flatly ignore your tenants requests for basic cleaning and maintenance? At $1500.00 a week for a small 3 bedroom apartment? A poor show in my opinion. This is like 1 of those rentals you see on TV.
