Not impressed

Being my first home i was very nervous and had lots of questions about the purchasing process - We felt like this Agent rushed us through the whole process & put pressure on us and did not make us feel supported or safe in the transaction. When the property went UNCONDITIONAL we arranged with the Agent to meet at the property to put up the SOLD sign after work ( as we were very excited) - The afternoon ( turned into night) when we had shuffled our work and child care arrangements to get to the property to take a photo of it being SOLD.. this was meant to be a sense of enjoyment and accomplishment - this feeling was lost in the dark cold waiting for the agent to arrive . No good. She arrived over 30mins late ( in the Dark so we could no longer see the sign and had to put the car lights on to get a half decent shot). The Agent then hugged and congratulated the tenants and gave them a bottle of wine and hamper? this confused us - she said yours is coming. The Agent seemed more interested in the tenants than us - she did reveal that she had a prior relationship with the tenants ( sold their home and placed them into this property as tenants ). When we had arrange a pre-settlement inspection ( the agent was able to have this organised swiftly) HOWEVER the agent was again LATE 20 mins, and then pressured us out of the home we were about to buy and did not allow for us to complete the inspection thoroughly - as she was rushing off to another appointment. She gave a bottle of Champaign and said congrats. This Agent was not very pleasant to deal with, her time management skills were obviously lacking, and she did not provide any paper work about the property on the inspection day. When we asked her several questions about the property she did not have the answer to them. Purchasing a new home is very stressful for all people involved and we would have appreciated if the Agent displayed more empathy and supported us through this.
