Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your relocation experience felt stressful as moving interstate can certainly be challenging.
We’d like to provide some clarification for context. After a holding deposit was paid we made multiple attempts to contact you to finalise the remaining bond and rent in advance. We also adjusted the lease commencement date to accommodate your circumstances. Unfortunately despite assurances that payment would be made funds were not received within the agreed timeframe.
Our communication regarding potential withdrawal of the offer was not intended as a threat but rather a standard and necessary step to ensure clarity for the property owners, who were otherwise facing potential loss of rental income. This is part of our obligation to act fairly and transparently for all parties involved.
We always aim to approach situations with understanding and flexibility and pride ourselves on the positive relationships we have with our tenants.
We’re disappointed that this matter was raised publicly before an opportunity to discuss it directly as we’re always open to constructive conversations and resolution where possible. But we also felt the need to provide more context and provide clarity for those reading this review as it is not a full reflection of the situation.
