Built in the early 1900's, the Ginger Blossom Cottage preserves much of its original charm, adorned by Dez & Mick with collected pieces - old and new, that imbue the entire space with story, warmth and patina.
Open up the French doors to the garden, where flowers and foliage sown by Ms. Warner many years ago, bloom.
As florists and custodians of this home, Dez & Mick lovingly tend to the garden year-round, and welcome visitors to pick a few blooms or fresh herbs from the harvest (perfect accompaniments to a glass of gin in the garden!).
Laze in the garden over a long lunch here, or for the romantics, share a candlelit dinner beneath the stars.
There are plenty of cosy nooks to read, linger and daydream inside and outside the cottage.
Draw yourself a warm bath in the clawfoot tub, curl up by the fireplace with a glass of wine from the local store, and soak up the early light that bathes the living area each morning as birds sing their morning song - it doesn't take much to gleen the magic of Ginger Blossom.
Located in the heart of Tumbarumba, the house is moments away from the verdant rolling hills of Snowy Valley, NSW - a slower pace of life is embraced, the country community is warm and the seasonal beauty just beyond the gate is something to behold.
