Professional agent but felt like a friend

When we recently bought our first property (in Cowaramup, WA), Brett Merrifield was an absolute champion from the first enquiry call I made all the way through to settlement. Brett was immediately friendly, informative, patient and likeable and I got the sense that this guy was no nonsense - a straight up character I could trust. Which are all fantastic qualities, especially for my wife and I who really were total rookies when it came to purchasing our first home…all we really knew is that we were in love with this block, it seemed to hold dreamy potential, we could see ourselves building a bright future there and we really wanted to be able to secure the sale of it! Brett seemed to get that right away and as things got more serious he always was refreshing to deal with, always there for us, constantly taking the nervousness out of any issues and keeping things balanced - being extremely supportive but not letting us get ahead of ourselves. Even though the property was instantly popular, had a lot of interest and immediate offers, we were fortunate enough to have our offer accepted and we feel Brett’s incredibly professional guidance and conduct throughout the whole process was a big part of our “win”. A South West local, a Yallingup surfer, a genuine dude, a fantastic real estate agent, a top bloke and a cruiser who gets the job done…we couldn’t have asked for more!
