There was a “Riot” reported in the media when I lived there. I actually witnessed it from my front yard at 53 Simpson Street. As I recall, it was more like a fairly brief family feud, definitely not what I would call a riot.
You will have noticed from the photos, that there are plenty of established trees. Boggabilla, which is actually aboriginal for “where the two rivers meet” has bore water quite close to the surface and the soil is very good which would explain why the trees look so healthy. If you like growing stuff, you will do well. The property also has town water and town sewerage provided at the boundary.
