“COUNTRY QUIET”
Standing on the front veranda of the ‘Jinchilla’ homestead, overlooking the lovely gardens, I watch parrots and native finches frolicking around the hanging feeder. I can see the town, down in the distance; but my surrounds are peaceful… Country quiet!
Despite the biggest drought NSW has experienced in 40 years, the brand new bore provides effortless water to the house and gardens. 2000 gallons an hour I am told. Three large 5000 gallon water tanks provide the storage.
The house and gardens are nestled at the rear of the 4.7 acre block. A large paddock, good for horses or stock separates the house from the country lane.
It’s the middle of winter and I step inside. It is toasty warm. A wood fired heater is providing heat and a comfortable glow. The house is fully insulated and has two brand new Reverse Cycle systems and fans installed. All seasons covered here!
The house is brick veneer with 4 bedrooms, and an office. Built ins and a walk in robe complete the rooms. A central bathroom and a decent sized en-suite off the master. Why…I can even see two linen presses!
A two car garage with remote doors and a workshop area provide for ease of access. An additional workshop with undercover caravan parking is located nearby. A great place to work on the Beetle rebuild!
Barbecue area, stock ramp, good fencing, small stable, NBN connected….the list goes on.
You’ve at least got to take a look!
