P Smith and Son is an independent Real Estate Agency that has continued to provide diversified services to Murwillumbah and its surrounding region since 1876 when the office first opened its doors. Our founder, Frances Patrick Smith, started a tradition that has continued for five generations. In the earlier years P Smith and Son was predominately know for the Auctioneers, back in the day when the Tweed Valley had approx. 600 Dairy farms, huge cattle numbers meant very successful fortnightly cattle sales held at the original sale yards in Brisbane Street alongside the Regent Cinema. The current licensee, Paul Leslight whose three young sons are direct descendants, along with his dedicated team continues to provide a Real Estate Service second to none. The office has continued to go from strength to strength in providing the people of Murwillumbah and surrounding villages, personal and professional Real Estate service. With over 146 years of trading in the same family name, a wealth of regional insight and knowledge has been passed down through the generations. Excellent sales insight and a great result !

Paul coached us through the full rural property sales cycle.
