•about my transaction with this agent..yes I did make the transaction personal which probably was not good on my part..what I mean by personal is a lot was happening in my personal life, and I did discuss this with Bill for that I'm sorry. Bill assured me the property I was buying was solid and rentable, the rentable I was not too concerned about I knew it would rent eventually (I am a single mum with full time car of my child so this purchase was super scary as I want to eventually give my son a leg up when it is his time) , he told me that his agency had lots of rentals in the area and had only just got enquiries for the area I was buying in. So once I got building inspection there was issues understandably it is an older home, Bill txt me to try to smooth the building report over and sugar coat that the house needed a new roof. I spoke with my solicitor who advised not to speak with agent and leave it to them. I ended up asking for money off the purchase price which I got but was minimal to how much the roof is going to cost to replace which is what I am currently doing. After the house settled I asked Bill if his agency that he worked for was still keen on renting it out. His message said agency not taking in any more rentals even though they have rentals in the area as it becomes too hard to do inspections, as they are 100 KMs away. Was all keen before property settled. Not only this is I asked Bill to take recent photos of the house ...excuses after excuse from not in office to internet not working..etc etc. I have since heard many things that are not real nice about this agent but that is not my business to pass on. If you are wanting to sell and need an agent that will get it sold regardless of the state of the home use him untrust worthy than he is your man cause he will do whatever it takes if you are buying off him stay well away.
