This is exactly what you picture when you think of the family holiday house at the beach. It has been in the same family ownership for 23 years, and it has ot been an easy decision to let it go.
Sitting just metres from the beach, basically far enough not to cop the worst of the salt spray but close enough that you can see and hear the ocean, and it is just a stroll away from the front gate. If you built two storeys, your view would be excellent.
The cottage is in very good condition internally and externally, with a new roof for the most part and fresh paint, a large open plan living room/ kitchen which has the benefit of great natural light from the north-facing aspect. The kitchen has had an upgrade at some stage and has a large corner pantry and good bench space. I imagine most of the cooking here will be done on the BBQ. Probably cooking up the fresh Coral Trout that you caught just this morning.
The bathroom is very much in keeping with the beach house theme, with its deep blue tiles and barrier reef toilet seat. The main bedroom has air conditioning, but the house benefits from the ocean breeze.
Any respectable beach house in this area must have a big boat shed. This house has a very high clearance boat shed that could be extended if your boat is too big. The house is set right at the back of the block, which means it is quieter and more private. The yard is fully fenced, and there are a few mandatory fruit trees. Nothing like a freshly picked papaya for breakfast.
The village has everything you need, and the fishing is extraordinary. This is a prime location without the beachfront price tag. Houses in this village sell quickly.
