Definitely not positive experience

Extremely disappointing. Throughout the entire process, communication was consistently inadequate, despite my repeated requests for updates and clarity. Important information was often missing, delayed, or provided only after I followed up directly.A clear example of the lack of attention to detail is the carpet issue. The outgoing tenant presented an invoice for professional carpet cleaning, yet the new tenant immediately reported that the carpet was still dirty upon moving in. This shows that no proper verification or inspection was performed before the handover. Even more concerning, this problem was not included in the bond deduction recommendations, highlighting a serious oversight in the management process.I also felt pressured to accept a tenant who had not even inspected the property, raising concerns about how tenant selection is being handled and whether the agency’s priorities are aligned with the landlord’s best interests.Additionally, there was a complete lack of collaboration and planning when it came to listing the property. Rather than a structured, professional approach, the process felt disorganised and reactive, forcing me to chase basic information that should have been provided proactively.What has affected me most on a personal level, however, was being called “racist” simply because I refused an application from a family whose financial stability did not meet the required criteria (only the son had been employed full-time for three years, while the parents had one short-term full-time role of just three months and a casual job). This accusation was completely unfounded and deeply offensive. Since that moment, I have found it extremely difficult to interact with someone who shows such a brutal and unjust mindset toward me. It is unacceptable for a professional in this industry to react in such a manner simply because a landlord exercises due diligence. Overall, the experience has lacked professionalism, care, and basic respect.
