•Dear sellers, I just bought a property through Renee. As all offer communications are private(as even the sellers don't know the exact communications between the agent and the bidders before the offers are being presented by the agents to the sellers), do you know without disclosing the other offers Renee could be favorably selective for a prospective buyer to upgrade his/her offer or make a higher offer so their offer gets accepted if he/she was an investor WITH A CONDITION that they would let her manage their property following settlement if the offer got accepted? Undoubtedly this would leave the seller with a great potential loss in sale price as another potential owner occupier buyer would have made a much higher offer(as compared to this investor buyer) if all bidders were given equal opportunity. Please think twice about this before signing up this agent. Finally as our contract went unconditional, I found her to be the worst agent I have ever dealt with when it came to communicating with her at every stage including pre-settlement inspection and while the issues arised through this inspection. The sellers had left the property in a condition where they had removed existing fittings and fixtures, leaving nails and hooks on the walls making it unsafe to live in, leaving big holes in the walls, electrical wires and plumbing pipes hanging out and instead of being cooperative to resolve the issues, Renee didn't want to liaise with the seller and rather asked my solicitor to directly liaise with the sellers. Instead of being sympathetic, she was RUDE and rather started BLAMING US for raising unnecessary issues. My solicitors had to finally get the sellers to deposit some money into the trust account to fix all these items for the settlement to go ahead but this agent did not make a single attempt to resolve the situation. Although the sellers never agreed to fix all the issues. It was a nightmare indeed! Best of luck Sellers if you were to deal with Renee!
