▶We decided to investigate the feasibility of selling our investment property in Turner when the tenant moved out quite suddenly. Badenochs had managed the unit for us for years, always very professionally and efficiently, so we sought their advice on the sale. Symon talked to us about the potential impact of COVID-19 (the short-term restrictions then in place and the long term implications for the market), the price range we might expect and the marketing strategy options available. We decided to go for a quick intense marketing strategy, with professional styling and an indicative "price-plus" target. Within 3 weeks we had a number of offers on the table which Symon talked us through, and we agreed that he should approach two of them for a best and final offer. By the end of the fourth week we had a confirmed buyer, and above our initial target price. The sale settled 3 weeks later. Throughout, Symon kept us informed of what was happening at each stage of the process. In summary, Symon's initial advice and suggested strategy were absolutely correct and we achieved a very satisfactory outcome with a minimum of fuss for us. Thanks to Symon and his team!
