Couldn’t recommend Peter more highly

Peter Walker was recommended to us when we decided to sell our house in Hawker, as an agent who specialised in the area and with a good reputation. We were very happy that we chose to go with him. We did not want an aggressive, pushy agent as we know that high pressure salesmanship puts off many people, including us. Instead, Peter dealt gently, positively and honestly with all those who expressed an interest in our property. From the first, it was apparent that Peter appreciated the things which made our property distinctive and which might add value to it. It soon became apparent that he was also an excellent communicator, listening to us, keeping us up to date with developments, emailing regularly and at the time of sale ringing us up to several times in a day. That was valuable, as we no longer live in Canberra. He was also able to recommend building inspectors and conveyancers who matched his own integrity. We had one issue which was a potential concern: an excellent long term tenant in the home we were selling who needed to be handled gently and tactfully. Peter proved outstanding in addressing her concerns and helping her, and when the property was shown she put in an exceptional effort to show it at its best. Given the COVID lockdown, he was proactive in suggesting we sell earlier than we’d originally planned, to take advantage of a shortage of comparable properties in our area. We have no doubt that Peter secured for us a sale price that reflected the true value of our home, given the neighbourhood and the current market. We would unhesitatingly recommend him.
