Outstanding Service Selling Deceased Estate

On Harris's advice I had the unit listed through the Ray White database and the unit was sold within 2 weeks of listing. While this sounds unremarkable in the current market, there were numerous complications as I live in Far North Qld (Cairns), the unit is located in Cronulla NSW and I couldn't travel as I've been undergoing treatment for cancer. I hadn't visited the unit since 2021 so there were many photos provided by my daughter and others showing me what we were starting with. Harris's advice during this period was invaluable and I had no hesitation in appointing him to sell the property. Harris was initially referred to me by a close friend of my deceased brother whose unit I had to sell as executor of his estate. From our first telephone conversation, Harris provided very professional advice with regard to the market conditions, property presentation and proposed a marketing and sales strategy. He referred me to a contractor to discuss what was required and I subsequently engaged him to remove the unwanted furniture and equipment that neighbours couldn't find a new home for and to thoroughly clean and prepare the unit for sale. We then had to play the long waiting game while probate was granted. When we could finally go ahead, there was a week in pre-sales preparation (photos, plan etc) and to have my lawyer put the final details into the contract before the listing hit the website. From the day it was listed, the process was quick with the buyer viewing the unit at the first open house with a firm offer made and accepted within the week. I am really pleased that the purchaser is a young couple as their first home. Selling to an owner occupier was my preferred outcome over the investors who also wanted the property. I have no hesitation in recommending Harris and his team at Ray White Caringbah.
