Buyer Immersion ...............

I recently had limited dealings with Harpreet regarding the purchase of my property in Scarborough and although Harpreet was polite, the primary real estate agent that played a pivotal throughout the purchasing of the property was Brendan Browne from Ray White Redcliffe. Brendan located the property for me and did most of the engagement work such as; supported me within the buying process, even attended open house on my behalf and in his own time, including attending final inspection. So for these reasons, I believe he should have received some of the agent funds from the selling of the property. Furthermore, I felt Harpreet was so focused on the sellers that I became lost in the negotiations which made me feel vulnerable and frustrated. In addition, as you know buying a property is daunting especially when buying it unseen ( Covid 19) but more so when your a woman buyer and having to deal with the stress associated with alleged bidding negotiations. In my case, bidding commence and I although I attained the property based on an additional $10,500 ( Harpreet initially asked for $12,000 claiming the other reported interested buyer had offered the amount ) you start to lose faith in the whole real estate industry and the associate property laws that are supposed to protect buyers.
