Buyer's review

Not a Reflection of the sales person who was quite OK to deal with.

I purchased a property about 12 months ago, the reason for the low rating is that I was not informed that 5 large units were being built next door and have had continuous construction noise for the whole year 7 days a week. All the large trees adjoining property that looked nice and provided privacy and shade were removed. Large machinery including rock breakers and excavators plus 40 tonne trucks vibrated the property I purchased, noise and dust have been a problem I also noticed more cracks in the plaster I believe as a result of the construction. It was my understanding from the seller of the property that they had notified Ray White of the project. However I don’t recall being informed of such a development when purchasing, the strata fees increased approx 70 percent shortly after settlement of the property, the lower fees were a reason I purchased the property. I was even charged 50 dollars to find out the strata fees prior to purchasing the property by the strata company. Ray White also recommended Ray White commercial esplanade for another matter which resulted in what I would describe as one of the worst service experiences in my lifetime.
