Sale of our house at Manly West

About a year ago, we approached Liza about selling our house. At that time we told her we planned on selling in about September 2020. Liza gave us an honest appraisal of our property value at the time, and also suggested the improvements we should make in order to maximize the properties price and sale ability. Without pressuring us at all, Liza contacted us from time to time to follow our progress. Fast forward to October 2020, having completed all of the suggested improvements, we contacted her again to advise we were now ready to put the house on the market. This was quite a daunting prospect for us, as we hadn’t moved house in 23 years, plus we had no idea what effect COVID-19 was having on the property market. Liza assured us it was a great time to sell as there were so few homes on the market- and we were amazed when she told us how much it would sell for. We signed the sole agency agreement with REMAX, the property went up for sale online on a Thursday, and ten days later Liza came over with no less than three offers to purchase. We took the best one (as advised by Liza), and it went unconditional a couple of weeks later. Liza has been absolutely amazing during the whole process- professional, friendly, honest and 100% reliable - everything she said would happen did happen, on time and on target. We have never met anyone who works so hard, yet does it with such passion and energy that she makes it seem effortless - which clearly it is not. Even after the contract went unconditional, she still visited the property and watered our plants for us while we were on holiday. We used to think Andrew Winter must be the best real estate agent in Australia. Now we know better. He isn’t - Liza is. We just don’t have enough superlatives for her. The service she has provided has been superb. Absolutely faultless. We are constantly telling everyone we know how good she is, and will continue to do so for a long time to come. A true gem.
