Purchase and Post Settlement Experience

1. We didn't really know much about Michael, having only met him once over a brief inspection. He showed us the property in the morning and in the afternoon we were back with an offer which was accepted. No negotiations. 2. No offer of second or pre-settlement inspection 3. No offer of handover instructions although manuals are made available it was not the same as being told how things run. 4. While the house was cleaned professionally, the garage, the patio and the shed were not done. Spa cover was very dusty. No sign of carpet clean. Absolutely not happy although we are not the people who complain. It would have been nice to be able to enjoy the new place from day one! We believe it should be part of the agent's or agency's job to ensure house is ready for handover to the new owners and the cleaning has been done satisfactorily. (Post clean check!) 5. It was good to get a box of chocolate at least to celebrate - thank you!
