What's around 61 Oberon St

SOLD by Kylee Harnisch

Escape without leaving - Urban Treehouse on 1500m2, nestled against 52ha of Reserve This is the kind of set up most of us dream about - an impressive family home with huge entertaining value, a big backyard for children, chooks, and pets, where a sprawling 1500sqm parcel meets 52 hectares of bushland reserve - and yet the city is still within easy reach. Almost unbelievably just 6km from the CBD, it feels much like the tree change we all crave while remaining incredibly well-connected, with top schools, dining and transport on-hand, and the popular Blue Poppy café just steps away. Set at the end of a cul-de-sac and barely visible from the road, the design intent behind it's split level 70's design is almost palpable; a private escape for families to live, work, play, and idle in the quietude of the landscape, incorporating a terrarium, warm timbers, banks glass and clerestory louvers to create a living, breathing gallery of nature. Beautifully zoned for parents, kids, and multi-gen living, the layout defines two distinct sleeping quarters - the upper offering three bedrooms and a full bathroom, while the lower bedroom adjoins the main level of living and an additional bathroom. With nearly every room flowing to the outdoors, it's enveloped beautifully by loads of lush lawn, covered al frescos on both sides, a putting green, and fire pit - you could wake up and on the weekend and nature spot from the top deck, or head directly out of the back gate to greet the koalas and Tawny frogmouths, picking a new trail each time. Highlights: • Extremely private 1500m2 - end of cul-de-sac • Fully-fenced yard, direct gated access to bushland • Putting green, covered entertaining areas to front & rear • Character design w. clerestory windows/ louvers, terrarium • Freshly painted interiors • Double carport, extra storage room below With 50km of walking and bike trails at the back gate, close access to CBD trains and buses, and top schools like CHAC, Lourdes Hill and Sts Peter and Pauls, it's an unmissable opportunity to lay claim to what might be considered the most exceptional setting in Morningside. Handy to Morningside Central shops, terrific Wynnum road dining venues like Sarmic and Flour & Chocolate, this enviable address is also moments to Gateway links and trendy café precincts amongst Hawthorne, Oxford street, and the exciting Barracks redevelopment. Rates $685.50 p.q approx

Responsive - Buyer, Morningside

Kylee and her team are very easy to deal with, they entertained my weird questions, were forthcoming with information and always happy to run out to the site at short notice for something or other. They return phone calls / emails promptly and follow through with what they say they'll do (when did that become rare...). Kylee even arranged removal of some unwanted chattels on settlement day. Very happy with the experience, have now engaged her as a seller.
