Original Federation Home on Deep Block Offering Excellent Potential to Renovate

Auction Location: On Site Set in a sought-after, tree-lined street, this full-brick Federation home offers great bones, generous proportions and solid potential for those looking to renovate in a highly desirable location. Brimming with period charm and character, the home retains many of its original features including ornate ceilings, stained glass windows and a decorative fireplace, all ready to be restored to their former beauty. Behind its elevated façade, the layout offers two generous bedrooms and a spacious living room filled with natural light. The large eat-in kitchen sits at the heart of the home, flowing through to a family room that opens to a covered outdoor area and deep rear yard. A versatile studio or storage space at the rear, offers flexibility for hobbies, a workshop or home office. Positioned in one of Hurlstone Park's most convenient pockets, the property is within walking distance to the incoming Canterbury Metro, local cafés, schools and parklands, with easy access to Cooks River walking and cycling tracks. This is a rare opportunity to secure a classic home with strong renovation potential in a tightly held, family-friendly suburb.

Best agent in hurlstone park

Having known Marco and the team for almost 30 years, they were the only choice when it came time to sell Mum’s property. They have a strong presence in the Inner West and, most importantly, we trust them. Once Marco inspected the property, he helped guide us through the preparation process. He organised painters and gardeners, and for a home of its age, it ended up presenting beautifully. Throughout the entire campaign, Marco kept us completely informed. We always knew what was happening and what to expect heading into auction day. The auction itself started a little slower than expected, but the team worked extremely hard to achieve a result that we felt was fair for the home — and even a little more. The auctioneer, Clarence White, did a great job, and we were very pleased with the outcome. The team worked hard not only on auction day but throughout the whole campaign. We felt well represented from start to finish and would happily recommend them.
