Could be better

My experience with Adam D’Amato was unfortunately not positive. Across multiple interactions, I found his people skills and communication quite lacking. I attended an inspection with him twice on the same day, yet there was no attempt to build rapport or even acknowledge that we had already met. At the initial inspection, we were advised that the property was strata title. After doing our own research several weeks later, we discovered it was actually Torrens title. We liked the property enough to proceed regardless and eventually made an offer. Knowing this sooner, we could have had this sold quicker. When I submitted our offer, (which was within the advertised price guide) his response was simply, “the vendor is expecting within the price guide.” I then had to email a screenshot of the price guide to clarify that our offer was indeed within the range already provided. Communication continued to feel disorganised. When I emailed asking to book our final inspection ahead of settlement on 15 December, the reply I received was, “Thank you for letting me know. Truly appreciate it. I’m glad that you went through again. What’s your thoughts? ” which didn’t address my request at all. It appeared either rushed, not properly read or possibly generated without proofreading. Overall, I found that Adam lacked the people skills and attention to detail that are important in real estate. His communication and administrative management were inconsistent and it made the process more difficult than it needed to be.
