▶We interviewed quite a few agents to sell out property and all of them were more focused on managing our expectation of the sale price than selling our home. We were told things like "nothing had sold in this price range in over 8 years, the market is slow, you have to go to auction, your buyer will need to be a high roller from Sydney, average selling time is over 6-12 moths, and there was a general lack of enthusiasm for our home.... Enter Jodie Curran. Jodie's first comment when walking in to our home was WOW. Whether she meant it or not, Jodie shared the same genuine enthusiasm for our home as us and the same enthusiasm we would hope our potential buyers would be exposed to during our open homes. Throughout the process we found Jodie's communication to be fantastic and her knowledge of our market and competition was on point every time. This knowledge is very important as buyers will always find objections based on comparisons with other properties and unless your agent knows how to defuse these then value can be lost in the eyes of the buyer. Ironically our buyer was a local and previous customer of Jodie's so this goes to show that listing with the agent that dominates the market and has the largest marketable database does have it's benefits... We sold in under 2 months with no auction. Our contract negotiation with our seller was messy but nothing was a problem for Jodie. We are very happy with our experience and would highly recommend Jodie to any potential sellers in Peregian Springs.
