Let potiental buyer slip away.

Nathan was knowledgeable regarding the current market, which aligned with the asking price for the property. However, due to lack of communication a potiental buyer who made an offer ended up walking away due to the delay between making offers and drawing up the contract of sale. Nathan advised of the need to get the vendor statement & contract of sale organised after the potiental buyer accepted a counter offer, instead of advising to start preparing the paperwork at the start of the marketing campaign which would have reduced the delay. Nathan also didn't communicate at the beginning that he was going to be away on leave during part of the marketing campaign and advised a week before going on leave that he would be away. In future this is something that needs to be communicated to vendors/owners at the beginning as this can be quite stressful with the agent not being available. Especially considering the potiental buyer walked whilst Nathan was on leave and several time had passed thinking the property was under offer. Overall, in the end the property sold for higher than expected. So in terms of selling the property Nathan did his job. However, the experience wasn't as smooth as it could have been.
