Bushby Street Trivia
Bushby Street Midvale is an indiscriminate suburban street in eastern Perth, but another chapter in the folklore of Bushby Street, Midvale has been written.
The street is famous in AFL circles for producing Fremantle's Michael Walters, West Coast's Nic Naitanui and Richmond's Chris Yarran.
New Fremantle recruit Shane Yarran, Chris' cousin, also grew up on the street, learning his footy craft with the trio.
"My grandparents lived on the same street with Chris and Nic," Yarran said.
"We all lived on the same street, went to school together and kicked the footy out on the paddocks.
"It was a good childhood, we had plenty of days kicking the footy on the road."
