All for the “close friends” vendors.

Me and my wife absolutely fell in love with this home, it was where we wanted, what we wanted and a perfect house for our family home. Unfortunately, this is where the love stopped. The communication was extremely poor, when we had told the estate agent we were selling our house through our family friend who is a estate agent in another firm, this is where Nat turned on us. Told us the vendors were “close family friends”, and they might not sell it to us as we aren’t selling our home through Nat, even though our offer was accepted she still persisted to tell us the vendors wanted to rent instead of sell and we may not get the house. We received cold, uninviting and unprofessional service, texts at 12.30 at night instead of normal trading hours (where both of us tried calling numerous times’s with no response). The house itself was left in poor standards, off cuts of metal, timber, rio, old piping and bricks, not to mention it the weed killer and poison that had been spilt all over the garden shed floor and not picked up. Light fittings full of vinegar flies, about 2-3 light’s not working at all, benches still full of the past vendors belongings. We moved in on the coldest day recorded in history of where we live, we arrived with our 13 month old to find we couldn’t cook nor heat the house due to 2 empty gas bottles. We had asked Nat to contact the vendors after our final inspection to have some of these thing’s fixed, with a response “it isn’t that bad” and it’s “common for older homes to have Reminence laying around”. She had told us she had gotten on to the vendors, who had told her they were going to amend this, only to find on our arrival none of those things had been fixed at all. Also we only received 1 key and 1 working garage remote. We had contacted the real estate firm with an apologetic response, the owner of Tierneys had offered to pay for a few of the things that need to be fixed, and had told us that this wasn’t the way their company operates.

Very happy, Nat has now sold 2 houses for us

We used Nat as the agent to sell our house because she had the knowledge of recent sales in the area and also what people were looking for. She was spot on with the pricing recommendation and we had our purchaser within a short time frame. Would thoroughly recommend Nat. The communication lines were always open regardless of what time it was.
