Born and bred in the Illawarra, his early career took him from accounting into real estate. John’s greatest job satisfaction comes from the thrill of being able to help clients realise their dream of owning a home or owning the type of home they’ve always dreamed of. Not only does he bring immense knowledge and experience to help guide their decisions but he’s lived the journey himself. John’s deep understanding of the importance of home, combined with his knowledge, integrity and genuine passion for his work, goes some way to explaining why he doesn’t only have clients for life but his clients’ children too. As John’s son, he’s grown up surrounded by real estate—and now, with several years of hands-on experience as a qualified carpenter, he brings his own skillset to the family business. From construction insight to land selection, Riley offers clients valuable, practical advice—especially when it comes to seeing the potential in a property. Having bought and sold property himself, he also understands what it feels like to be on the client side of a transaction. Friendly, enthusiastic, and eager to help, Riley is proud to work alongside his father and continue the Tisma & Co tradition of building real relationships and helping families find their place to call home.
