There are two bedrooms; a sunny living room; combined dining room and well-appointed kitchen; as well as a large bathroom. It has off-street parking for two vehicles and a sheltered courtyard.
The business is currently managed mainly through on-line booking sites making it easy to monitor and co-ordinate from anywhere. Even in the quieter times, there can be last minute bookings from people who have just discovered the area and wish to stay on and explore further. The Retreat has gained an excellent reputation and there are many visitors who return again and again.
With frontage onto the main street of the town, the Laundromat is well utilised by both the locals and passing tourists. Oatlands is a very popular stop point for caravan and motor home travellers who appreciate the chance to freshen up their linen, clothes etc.
The laundrette has 7 washing machines, 3 dryers and 1 washer/dryer all of which are coin operated. There are two vending machines for washing powder as well as snacks and there is also a great coffee machine to make waiting more comfortable. All of the machines are owned out-right and stay with the business.
