I am a grand old lady conveniently located in Kadina’s dress circle. I have seen many changes and had many owners in my long life beginning with Thomas Herne-Hall, first Mayor of Kadina in 1870.
I began life as a skillion roofed cottage and was gentrified sometime in the late 1800’s. I wasn’t always well looked after but thankfully, my current owners of 20 years restored me and gave me some modern upgrades to me make the family home I am today. Although they love me, my present owners recognise that soon their needs for age care will mean I won’t be able to receive the care I need, and we all agree I need to have the energy of a new family to create new memories.
I have 3 new R/C air conditioners, a ducted evaporative air conditioner and two slow combustion heaters. I have mainly hard floors and high ceilings. I have a cellar, modern kitchen/dine with induction cooktop and modern wet areas, 4 bedrooms and a lounge room, a large outdoor entertaining area and an easy-care garden. I have a chook yard and massive shed with a mezzanine and 5Kw of solar panels, rainwater plumbed to the kitchen and a purpose made “doggy shower” with hot and cold water to wash the fur kids. I am well suited to dogs as pets with fencing and a doggy door. I also have a delightful art nouveau lead light feature around my front door.
