THE DEAL
Villa Alcyone is an award-recognised study in geometry, materiality and light. Designed by Jayson Pate Design and completed by Resolve Constructions in October 2025, the residence frames its coastal and skyline outlook through two distinct wings, each positioned to draw natural light deep into the interior from morning through evening.
The arrival is deliberately restrained. Cobblestone pathways move through layered landscaping before the home gradually reveals itself through softened arches, framed vistas and a finely resolved connection between inside and out. Rather than relying on scale alone, the architecture creates impact through proportion, repetition and a confident material palette.
Four-bedroom suites provide considered separation, each complemented by impeccable marble ensuites and abundant natural light. The principal suite occupies its own wing, complete with a dressing room, private office with custom cabinetry and a sculptural marble bathroom.
A second primary suite in the adjacent wing also offers a study, while a flexible multipurpose room provides space for work, wellness or entertaining.
Materiality is central to the experience. Italian marble shifts in tone and character throughout the home. Silver travertine moves seamlessly between interior and exterior spaces, while limewash, microcement and brass introduce warmth and texture. Custom cabinetry, handcrafted hardware and lighting sourced from around the globe give every room its own quiet identity.
At the centre, the kitchen is conceived as a piece of architecture. A sculpted marble form echoes the curves of the facade, incorporating an ILVE oven and anchoring the open living and dining areas. Beyond, the home opens to a built-in daybed, outdoor kitchen with pizza oven and a heated pool lined in deep green Sukabumi stone. Arched forms, established gardens and layered entertaining spaces create the feeling of a private coastal resort.
Ten-zone ducted air conditioning, integrated audio, security and a double garage with additional storage complete the practical detail. Yet the defining feature remains the outlook. Ocean, skyline and sky become part of the architecture, changing with the light and giving each wing its own perspective.
This is not simply a highly specified new home. It is a singular architectural statement where craftsmanship, landscape and outlook have been considered as one.
