Castle Hill:
Castle Hill is located approximately 30 kilometres North-West of Sydney CBD and is the main administrative site for the local government area of the Hills Shire Council.
Castle Hill was founded on the 1st of March 1802 by Governor Phillip, almost a year after he began a Government farm. The prison farm was worked by mostly Irish convicts who were exiled and deemed as “Politicals” for agitation against British Rule.
