After many weekends spent searching for the right property, we finally thought we'd found the one. Confident in our decision, we arranged a second viewing, with the intent to make an offer. However, during the second inspection, we noticed a few concerns about the house. The tipping point, though, came from our growing distrust of the agent. He provided information we knew was inaccurate and peppered the conversation with cringeworthy lines like, “How can I help you buy this property today?” At that moment, we realised the property wasn’t for us, and suffice to say, we quickly made our exit!
