We had a very bad experience with our recent home purchase. During our first inspection we requested abhi for some minor changes and touchups which he agreed and may be he communicated with owner and agreed for the changes. But unfortunately, when we visited the place before final settlement, most of them were not addressed. On the final inspection day, Yash Sethi was present, and upon mentioning the changes we had already discussed with Abhi, he quoted, "You don’t have to say one thing four times." This response was incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional, implying that our requests were trivial and not worthy of being addressed adequately. Moreover, the settlement process was an ordeal. Initially postponed due to issues with the seller's bank and solicitor R&J Lawyers, it was rescheduled, only to be delayed again because of further complications on the seller's side. This lack of organisation and communication caused immense stress and disrupted our moving. As first-time homebuyers, we were incredibly excited about this milestone. However, the joy quickly turned into frustration due to these issues. The delay in the settlement forced us to stay at a friend’s place for two days, as early occupancy was denied despite the mistakes being on their part. This lack of empathy and consideration for our situation was deeply upsetting. There was no effort to mitigate the inconvenience caused to us, nor was there any genuine apology or acknowledgment of the distress we experienced. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely negative. The process, which should have been one of the happiest times of our lives, was marred by inefficiency, poor communication, and unprofessionalism. I urge potential buyers to consider this when choosing their real estate agent and solicitor. A home purchase is significant and deserves to be handled with care, respect, and professionalism—qualities sorely lacking in our dealings with this agency.
