Real Estate Agents and Car Salesmen are often dumped in the same boat, I know not why...

A really good salesman, particularly in real estate, is someone who really is interested in you, the seller. What does "really interested" mean? Someone who wholeheartedly recognises the role they play in the seller achieving what they want to achieve. Your salesman is that vehicle. We had to meet a few salesman in order to find one that we felt completely understood our unique home, how many improvements over the years and how we worked on it's presentation in every detail, and someone we could discuss the finer and sometimes more difficult details about selling and marketing our property. Let me introduce our pick.... Ant Manton of Ray White Rapid Response Unit. What an absolute pleasure to find that piece of gold in all that is not gold! Ant got us and our property. He always followed up on every detail, kept us informed of all progress, maintained his professional representation of us at every level, kept the inconvenience of having a home on the market to a minimum and got us what we wanted in a scarey Covid19 market within a week of the property going on the market. What more could you want from a real estate agent, a car maybe? Lol Ant also offered the opportunity of the Mataport 3D camera system which is brilliant allowing prospective buyers to walk around and look at the property from their armchairs, indeed some people like that and some people don't.....it's your choice how the property is marketed all the way. So again I say "What more could you want from a real estate agent, a car maybe? " Lol We'd go Ant everytime. It's a pity we cannot take him with us interstate😫

Ant and his team have been fantastic throughout the sale process, especially given the extra challenges of the Covid 19 restrictions. They kept us informed and acted prompted on our instruction and got us a great result. Ant and his team are professional yet friendly and approachable. I would highly recommend to future vendors.

With a challenging property, Ant and team took  control and sold our property within a couple of weeks to clients in their database  above asking price , with no open houses. Painless, Fast, Good value, Great result! Aside from being highly professional Ant and his team are charming , lovely to deal with and put us at ease.  Highly   recommended.

We had been thinking for a while about listing my property. We enlisted the service of Ant, Simon and the Rapid Response Team at Ray White Hobart and was absolutely blown away by how responsive they were. Talk about rapid response.. No more than 7 minutes and 47 seconds went past and low and behold after a quick phone call around the corner came a silky black on black VW with leather trim. Out stepped a man with a smile brighter than a full moon on a clear winters night. I was amazed as he introduced himself as Ant Manton from the Rapid Response Unit. He assured me that his team at Ray White Hobart were ready and equipped to assist us with our property goals. Either he asked Siri in the car on the way over about the area or the man is a property genius as he knew the past sales of every house in the street. His knowledge of real estate was comparable to that of Yoda's knowledge of the force. Our house was listed and immediately we had prospective buyers wanting to come through and the Rapid Response Team were there to hold the hands of elderly ladies struggling to get up our stairs. We always felt our house was safe in the hands of Ant and Simon whilst we vacated for open homes. Within just days we had a contract after contract flying across our benchtop. We run a paperless home a pen was no where to be found. Luckily Simon was on hand. I had to shield my eyes as the light bounced off the perfectly crafted silver bullet pen as he pulled it out of his pocket. I had never seen a pen like it. They say the pen is mightier than the sword and I can attest, this thing would have shattered even the strongest Valerian blades. The communication was outstanding throughout the process with phone calls, emails and sms' ensuring that we were up to date with all the offers, contracts and pending clauses during the journey. I would certainly recommend their services to anyone wanting to buy or sell their home, investment property or for that matter, anyone wanting a good pen.

We purchased a property in Sandy Bay recently. We never met the selling agent as an offsides was sent on the 2 occasions we inspected the house. From the time of our offer being accepted we have been bombarded with ‘rate your agent’ emails. Upon settling the property we collected the keys and found a filthy house (which 5 weeks before was presented immaculately) with items left including rotting food in the back of the pantry, underwear on a light fitting, a child’s toy pram, a wet suit...to name just a few. We were given a single key which opens only one of the external doors, no code was given for the electric gate, no instructions or manuals for the 2 different heating systems. I contacted the agent, who expressed surprise said he would ask about a front door key and arrange for someone to contact us about a cleaner. The answer on the front door key was ‘they have never had one’, which seems odd as they had completely renovated this house within the past 3 years and the lock is brand new. No one ever contacted us about arranging a cleaner. After a frustrating day of cleaning and collecting crap around the house I sent another txt message about the state of the home asking about the gate code and instructions for the heating systems and expressing my frustrations. The reply I got was to not ‘shoot the messenger’ and that none of these things were his responsibility. In NSW a prepurchase inspection is standard practice before settlement, which we should have requested here, rather than relying on good faith.

Ant is extremely quick in responding to email queries, and is very helpful in all aspects of putting our house on the market. He is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects ‘real estate’. From our initial contact with Ant, (we are repeat customers) through to the contract signing, Ant was such a pleasure to work with. As we were going overseas during the time the house was on the market, working through Ant gave us great peace of mind, particularly when it sold so quickly. The management of the whole process (while we were overseas) was challenging & stressful to say the least, but with Ant at the helm, and our Conveyancers working with Ant, we had confidence it would all come together. As we had tenants in our house at the time, Ant negotiated with the purchaser to retain the tenants until the end of their lease, giving the purchaser time to get their ‘house in order’ prior to their move. This process also involved working with our Property Manager, which Ant was more than happy to do. So as you can see, our was a reasonably complex sale, but was managed in an extremely professional and timely manner. A credit to Ant and his hard working, switched on team. Thank you again.
